This handheld sewing machine is very convenient for small projects and quick repairs. It’s easy to thread and switch colors, and I like that it can run on 4 AA batteries (not included). It also comes with a DC-to-USB power cable and everything you need to get started (see phone). It works best on lightweight fabrics like cotton or polyester. Once the material gets thicker, it’s harder to keep it moving smoothly through the feed, so it’s not ideal for heavy fabrics or layered seams. I live in a condo and keep my full-size sewing machine in storage, so this has been perfect for quick mending without hauling out big equipment. It’s not a replacement for a standard sewing machine by any means, but it’s a useful little gadget for small jobs and travel.

Not well made. Top of arm keeps popping off. Adjustments to tension, etc do not stay as set. Does not work for soft fabrics like T-Shirt fabric, it jams. I should’ve bought a full sized machine. DO NOT WASTE TOUR MONEY!
