This product is pretty handy and easy to use. However, I have checked with multiple GPS devices and it is 1 mph off. It shows me going 1 mph faster than I really am. Other than that pretty good.
Works as it should. Easy plug & play installation. It’s a nice little upgrade to our 2013 Hyundai Elantra. It’s a pretty bright unit but adjust automatically depending on day or night lighting. Can’t speak on long term durability but as of now, it works great!
If you know what a GPS signal is, and you are smart enough to apply the reflective screen on your windshield, this is a perfect and economical solution. I read the one star reviews and they state that it does work in trees, over passes, or tunnels. Yeah, GPS signals are satellites in the sky, not inside a tunnel. And they are not "ground based" cell towers either. Anything overhead will block a GPS signal. And you must use the reflective stick on screen for it to FOCUS correctly. That is why they put it in the box. I'm sure some folks did not even look for it. If you don't you will get a double reflection from your window, because your windshield is two pieces of glass with a membrane in between, (shatter proof glass). Now on to the best part. With my polarized sunglasses I can see this in bright daylight with sun shining in to my windshield'. The speed is one MPH high according to two GPS phones and my speed odometer. That is actually very close compared to other devices I have tried. Most were two to four MPH off. Note that I mounted my reflective screen so that it would not block my view of the road. It works great. Also the reflective screen when viewing from the inside of the vehicle is NOT as dark as the picture appears. Do not buy this if you do not understand where a GPS signal comes from, or don't apply the required screen. Installs in about five minutes with most of that time getting it positioned like you want on your dash and windshield.
It is a small upgrade that makes the interior feel more high-tech. I really enjoy the display.
