EvoShade™ Adaptive LCD Sunglasses

These glasses are pretty decent. It's clear there's some interesting tech in it. The width is for larger heads so make sure your eyes are not too close and your head too small or they might look odd. The color is good, comfort, no complaints yet. The aesthetic is pretty cool, no major issues. Overall, you should just know the lenses say they only alter in the sunlight. Anyway, overall, pretty light, normal darkness, and decent vision.

I was surprised that the color change lense actaully works. I wore it when I was driving and it protected my eyes from the sun. The glasses is lightweight and looks okay. I feel like the quality of the glasses is good. Reminds me of these glasses from Disneylands Captain EO that you wear.

They have electrochromic lenses that according to the box, vary in opacity in 8 levels depending on the brightness of the sun. They use a tiny solar panel above the bridge of the nose to power the transition. Normally they are mostly clear but when that panel is exposed to sunlight, it changes the lenses to darker sunglasses based on how bright it is. There is no power button - just wear them in the sunlight to activate the change. There is no internal battery as the lenses change only when there is enough light to power the change. They even work in a car unlike chemical “transitions” sunglasses and the change is nearly instantaneous. They are as light and comfortable to wear as standard sunglasses, too. I would be careful wearing them at the beach or near a pool as they is no mention of water or dust protection. Provided you like the style, these electrochromic glasses will automatically change darkness based on the brightness of the sun and keep you protected.

The auto tint lenses work great to tint darker in bright sunlight. They provide good clear and crisp vision. They are as comfortable as any other brand. The styling for me could be improved. Not sure about scratch resistance yet. Other than that they are a fine pair of sunglasses.
