DoorGuard™ – Portable Door Security Alarm

A very good product. I use it for my travels, and I also sent some to family members living outside the United States. It provides an extra layer of security. The alarm sound is truly very loud.

The only minor issue I had was that the battery compartment was a little difficult to open at first, but once I got the batteries installed, setup was quick and simple. One thing I really liked was the length of the adjustment screw. Even with the trim at the bottom of my door, I was able to tighten it enough for a secure fit. A tip for anyone using it: make sure you place it directly under the door handle. I watched a review where someone claimed it didn’t work, but they had it positioned incorrectly. When placed in the proper location, it works exactly as intended. I tested it myself, and the door didn’t budge at all. As soon as pressure was applied to the door, the alarm sounded immediately. It definitely gave me peace of mind. Overall, I’d give this a 10/10 and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable, easy-to-use travel or home security device.
