Discovera™ – Portable Digital Microscope

This is such a great microscope for young ones! I really would had love something like this when I was a kid! It’s easy for little hands to hold on to and has a good size screen for them to check out little bugs or anything. It comes with a very nice neck strap that you attach yourself to the microscope. Even tho some younger kids would love this and could use this they would need help with the buttons and focusing. I think most kids 5 and over could use this by themselves after showing them how to use it. It’s a good quality picture for what it is and the price. It doesn’t take batteries, but you can recharge it which is great! It’s light weight. This microscope can take pictures and videos. It has a 2” screen. LED lit screen. 200x-1000x magnifying. This is a great starting out little magnifying device for young ones 5 years old and up! Would recommend!

I ordered the Ashfly 1000X Handheld Digital Microscope for a friends five year old son to explore the tiny world all around us when he was visiting our house. This kids microscope isn’t only fun but it’s educational and from his reaction to it, it must be the best thing since Army men and mud puddles combined. The five-year old loves it and that makes me want to play with the microscope too! The microscope itself is relatively lightweight but rugged. It’s been holding up well to the abuse of a five year old boy and that speaks volumes. Picture quality and magnification are better than many of the low cost kids toys of similar function. It even comes with a neck / carrying strap for easy transport and use. Its price is reasonable and based on the reactions from kids I’ve observed using it, it’s worth every single penny. Get one for yourself while you are ordering it. Fun guaranteed.

This actually works awesome for beekeeping. You can see everything. The reflection of my phone makes the video tough but it definitely works!!!
